Meet your Attorney

Amy Zellner

Amy Zellner

Esquire, Attorney, Owner, Founder, CEO, COO, etc.

I've been interested in law since I was a small child. As a shy kid, I found myself curious how to support others in their journey to finding their own voice, as I had a lot of help along the way. I have always been fascinated by language, and after attending Marquette University, University of Wisconsin Green Bay, Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, and University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2012.

I continued my education in 2018, to obtain an Associate Degree in Business Management from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) in 2020. It was there my passion and belief in myself and the law were reignited - I took a business law course during my studies. I sat in on local courts, which I still love to do, and went on to law school in Minnesota in 2021.

During my time in law school I was Treasurer, Secretary, and ultimately President of the Environmental Law Society at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. In Minnesota I interned writing contracts for a small family-owned business in Minnetonka, and worked in Minneapolis at the Hennepin County District Court office in the Mental Health and Probate division.

I graduated with a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2024, with a Certificate in Law and Business. During my time in law school, I studied abroad summer 2022 at University of Greenwich in London, UK - taking immigration law and business courses.

After graduation, I passed the bar in summer 2024 and became a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, sworn in by the Supreme Court of the State of Wisconsin, in September 2024.

I found gainful employment: first for local government, and then in private practice, before deciding to open my own firm. I have also been admitted to the United States District Court Eastern District of Wisconsin as of February of 2026.

Thank you for stopping by and welcome - looking forward to advocating for you or someone you know!

I’m so grateful to have worked with Amy Zellner on our uniquely challenging case. My husband’s severe social limitations made traditional legal processes feel overwhelming and impossible, but Amy approached our case with deep empathy, patience, and insight. Her personal familiarity with mental illness and disability-related challenges allowed her to advocate for us in a way that was both compassionate and fiercely effective! In addition, her background with the child support system gave her a rare perspective that helped us maintain expectations with clarity and confidence. She explained everything clearly, anticipated potential hurdles, eased our concerns, and always kept our goals and well-being at the center. I wholeheartedly recommend Amy Zellner to anyone facing a complex or sensitive situation where legal skill and human understanding must go hand in hand. Having an attorney who truly gets the human side of things, especially with something as sensitive as mental illness and disability, is incredibly rare and valuable. We couldn't be more pleased to have someone like Amy Zellner represent our case in Waupaca.
